Update on SQE and Trainee Programme Webinar

We are delighted to continue our partnership with The College of Legal Practice to bring you regular updates on SQE and Trainee programmes.

In this webinar, Dr Giles Proctor and Peter Liver, will cover the latest on the SQE, what is working well and how other firms have approached SQE. They will share with us their insight into the SQE exams and key factors for candidates to perform well, highlighting example programmes from clients’ firms and talk through the latest on the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme and the possible alternatives.

Dr Giles Proctor, Chief Executive Officer qualified as a solicitor and practiced in corporate and commercial law before entering teaching and completing his PhD. Giles joined The College of Legal Practice in 2020 leading business engagement, collaborating with firms and Universities to develop bespoke training programmes around professional education, including SQE..

Peter Liver, Chief Operations Director was previously Executive Director for Membership at the Law Society England & Wales where he led on education, learning and training. Peter joined The College of Legal Practice in 2019 and works closely with Giles and its not for profit parent company The College of Law.
