We would love you to join us for a fun, informative opportunity to discover more about working in the care sector. The amazing team at CHAOS TV will be hosting this event. Join them, and us, to celebrate the incredible job that carers do and find out why they love their jobs so much. The enormous smile on Will&#x27;s face in the photo above is a big clue on that one. We&#x27;ll also be challenging a few stereotypes, discovering how care work can involve surfing, robots and even theatre! And, because we can&#x27;t do this in person, we&#x27;re offering a free cream tea to eat while you watch so we can also have a shared experience while staying apart. This will be supplied by the very lovely Copper Spoon cafe at Marazion and delivered direct to home for the first 50 people living in Cornwall who register before the end of August.Volunteer Cornwall will be explaining how volunteering offers the opportunity to try something new, gain skills and experience and enhance your CV. The National Careers Service will be joining us to offer some advice on searching and applying for jobs and preparing for interviews. And the amazing Amy Fox from the Fox Project will be looking at confidence boosting. Organisations in the sector who haven&#x27;t previously worked with REACH Cornwall are also welcome to join us too as we&#x27;ll be using this slot to talk about we can offer in the future. And we hope that the middle section, and particularly the question and answer session, will offer the opportunity for both audiences to interact, with care providers on hand to answer queries from those thinking about working in care.
