Free art and conservation workshops for young people in High Wycombe

Local artists? CheckConservation workshops? CheckThis afternoon is a perfect opportunity for young people in High Wycombe to learn new skills and give back to the local environment. Come along and learn new skills, including how you can protect your local wildlife and landscape in these times of climate uncertainty. Due to limited numbers- in line with government guidelines- entry will be split into two groups of 30. Register now and include your time entry preference. To keep everyone safe and ensure social distancing is possible during the workshops, please bring a mask and something to sit on (picnic blanket, chair, etc). Hand sanitiser will be available at all workshops and equipment will be sanitised between each group.Parking available in the Public Carpark at the end of Fennels Road – HP11 1SL Suitable for ages 11+--Workshops OrganisersSue SidleyJoin local artist Sue for a drawing workshop, inspired by the natural world. Hone your drawing skills and choose an object from the landscape of the Chilterns as Sue guides you through your sketching process. All materials provided.Chiltern RangersWe will be cutting back a traditional hedgerow – the perfect habitat for birds, small mammals, bees and butterflies! You’ll be amazed at the wildlife we see along this riverside green corridor.Families and individuals are all welcome (under 16s bring an adult along!)
