This is a beautiful green space walk with views towards Birmingham and Coventry with a variety of things to see.

MERIDEN CIRCULAR3.6 MILESMEET AT QUEEN‘S HEAD PUBorMEET IN SPON ENDAllow 2-3 HOURSWe walk up Church Lane on this beautiful walk, from the Queen’s Head. Across many crop and luscious grass fields. This Walk takes us through a nature (reserve) wood and Birmingham views can be seen on the horizon, as well as views across Warwickshire, from the high ground, as well as towards Coventry.There are a few double styles, which are high styles and bar to climb over, as well as plank bridges. Dogs would need to be lifted over all of these, if they are of a medium or larger size.We walk through a farm and will see sheep (overly friendly sheep) cows and horses. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at certain point and have good recall.Please check our Website “WALKS” page and “REGISTRATION” pages for full details about this WALK:YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE FOR EACH WALK. This includes completing a registration form and making a £4 payment per adult. If someone is paying for you, you must still register. Thank you.We will be walking at a relaxed pace and not rushing. There will be time to stop to take photos and have a drink, at a few intervals. We will stop mid-way for a snack, chat, relax and to connect with the surroundings.This Walk is mostly flat terrain, with a gradual incline.Ground is slightly uneven in places. So you will need to look where you are walking.SMOKING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED DURING THIS WALK.It could be muddy in places and wet. So Wellington or walking boots will be advised as well as waterproof clothing. Please bring water and a snack. Unless quite heavy rain is forecast for the whole walk. This walk will go ahead. If the walk leader has no choice but to cancel, we will provide a free replacement walk on another day.There are NO toilets on this walk, apart from the Queen’s Head Pub.IMPORTANTA reminder to inform the walk leader immediately if you feel unwell. You must REGISTER for each walk and agree to the terms and conditions on the registration form before the registration closes at 10pm the evening before the walk.THE COST OF £4 PER ADULT FOR THIS WALK IS NOT REFUNDABLE.In order to cover running and other related costs including advertising, our time to prepare, plan and lead walks, admin and other expenses and helping those who might need it, with bus or train fare...We have decided (after much thought and discussion) to charge £3 per adult, for each walk. £4 in total because Event-Brite takes a minimum of £1. We hope to secure funding eventually, so our community walks can be provided free of charge to everyone.
