Seminar One: Juliana Nogueira de Souza "Do Science Like a Girl: Reflecting on the Relationship Between Women and Science Through the Action Research Methodology." Juliana’s presentation will be delivered in Brazilian Portuguese, with slides available in both English and Portuguese. Seminar Two: Gabriel Lisboa de Melo "Petrochemical Initiatives and Socio-Environmental Injustices: The Role of Science Education in the UK and Brazil." Gabriel’s presentation will be delivered in English. Speakers:<ul><li>Juliana Nogueira de Souza is a PhD Candidate at the University of Campinas, Brazil, and a Visiting Student at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. With a Bachelor's and teaching degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Biology Education, Juliana has been teaching Science and Biology in Basic Education since 2012. Her research focuses on Science Education, women in science, decoloniality, the Global South, and basic education.</li><li>Gabriel Lisboa de Melo is a PhD Candidate at Universidade Estadual Paulista, Brazil, and a Visiting Student at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. He holds a Master's degree in Science Education and a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a teaching qualification from Universidade Federal de Itajubá.
