We can give you an overview of the competition, share tips and tricks, discuss previous winning entries and answer any of your questions.</p><p>Register to be sent the Zoom meeting details and then just drop in on a half hour mark (2pm, 2.30pm, 3.00pm, 3.30pm).</p><p><br></p><h3><strong><strong>What is 3MT?</strong></strong></h3><p>The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an internationally recognized research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland in 2008. It challenges doctoral researchers to distill their thesis into a compelling three-minute presentation, communicating its originality and significance to a non-specialist audience.</p><p>Find out how to take part by joining us at this session and reading more on our <a href="https://www.intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/graduateschool/pgr/events/3mt.aspx" title="https://www.intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/graduateschool/pgr/events/3mt.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">3MT intranet page</a>.</p><h3><br></h3><p><strong><strong>This event is open only to University of Birmingham doctoral researchers</strong></strong>.</p><p>PGR programmes include: PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.</p><p>Registration will close one hour before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may be refused entry if we have met capacity and you are not on the list.
