Drawing on traditional favourites and introducing new ideas, Jason's stories are told in the oldest and best ways – as live performances, for modern audiences and he has performed across the UK and mainland Europe, blending traditional and contemporary motifs, vocal sound effects and pure, unadulterated fantasy.Jason has been a performer most of his adult life, including cabaret and comedy, but his passion lies in stories - ‘there's nothing like getting lost in a story, the pictures in your head are better than film’.Jason has written and published four collections of his own stories, won silver at the last ‘Grand Annual Lying Festival’ and 'Best Bard' at Profound Decisions' 'Theatre of Joy and Sorrow'. He is also a member of the Society for Storytelling, a skilled celebrant for weddings / handfasting, namings and funerals and a member of the UK Society of Celebrants.Jason now lives in Leamington Spa with his family: Partner Kim, son Oskar, and Percy the cat.

Adventure and magic: ancient stories told live for a modern audience, award winning performance storyteller Jason Buck brings you the tales of three knights of King Arthur's Round Table.<ul><li>Sir Lancelot: The White Knight, the bravest and best of all Arthur's knights</li><li>Mordred: A dark knight and the engineer of Arthur's downfall</li><li>The Kitchen Knight: From humble beginnings, then unbeaten in battle and finally a place at the Round Table</li></ul>Profits from this show will go to help support <a href="https://www.butserancientfarm.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Butser Ancient Farm</a> and help pay for the ongoing welfare of the farm's animals, the upkeep of the buildings, and go towards future projects. Age suitability: Adults and families (child friendly)The farm features archaeological reconstructions of ancient buildings from the Stone Age, Iron Age, Roman Britain and the Anglo-Saxon period. Our buildings are internationally famous and appear frequently in documentaries and feature films.
