A roundtable discussion with disabled women to discuss priorities for the government's upcoming disability strategy

Disabled women have made great advances in many areas of life over the past few decades, but still face significant barriers.Disabled women are less likely to be employed than non-disabled women, and both disabled and non-disabled men, and disabled women in work have the lowest average rates of pay.We want to hear from disabled women from across the UK. What are the issues that matter most to us? Do we face barriers not faced by non-disabled women and girls? Are the barriers different from those faced by disabled men and boys? Do we have unique assets, skills and experiences we can use to advance our place in society? Do disabled women and girls have unique characteristics for leadership? Are there barriers disabled women face within the disability rights movement?
