London Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament

A public conference to explore what the pandemic teaches us about the meanings of security. This event will be held online. 

Join the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament&#x27;s Annual Conference 2020 for an afternoon of discussion, workshops and practical activities reflecting on the changed situation following the pandemic.- open to all - Keynote speech from Jeremy Corbyn MPRoundtable discussion: Real Security, with Prof Paul Rogers, Newham Mayor Rokhsana Fiaz, and Roger McKenzie (Unison Assistant General Secretary), in conversation with Tom Unterrainer (Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation)Workshops <ul><li>On security for the planet: Visions of a Green Future, with representatives from Amelia Womak, Green Party Deputy Leader and CND Cymru representative</li></ul><ul><li>On security for local communities and working people: Security for the Many, with Arthur West (Scottish CND Trade Union Network) and Matt Fawcett (Yorkshire CND)</li></ul><ul><li>Creative Campaigning, an artist-led session, reviewing anti-war artworks and sharing skills to produce impactful images. Learn the history of the CND symbol and fold your own peace crane.
