As a member of the IHSCM, we want to hear your views and gather evidence of key areas which we can then present to government/policy makers.

We want to hear from you! On a daily basis we hear about the amazing work you do and the contributions you make to health and social care. As you will be very aware there are significant challenges coming soon, which we know will impact many, particularly in social care. As a member of the IHSCM we want to hear your views and gather evidence of key areas which we can then present to government/policy makers. The three areas are: Who pays - 26th March, 1.30 till 2.30pm - Potential solutions from insurance policies to individual contributions (depending on Q1). Professionalisation. Attract and retaining people into care.On the panel:<ul><li>Ginny Collins - Workforce Manager at Surrey Care Association, a membership organisation helping shape the future of adult social care across Surrey. Ginny previously worked for Humanists UK, where she led a national, accredited training programme. Agenda

We will discuss the National Care Service, models from other countries, simplifying access, and the role of technology and data in creating efficiencies. How could AI support these initiatives?

11th February - The Structure

We will discuss potential solutions, ranging from insurance policies to individual contributions based on Q1. What will the costs be?

26th March - Who Pays?

We will discuss our efforts outlined in the People Plan, focusing on areas such as international vs. domestic recruitment, professionalisation, and strategies for attracting and retaining individuals in care.

2nd April - Workforce
