Youth Scotland is the national charity for supporting and delivering youth work in the community. We believe in changing lives through youth work.We are the largest national youth work organisation in Scotland, supporting 113,100 young people, 2,400 youth groups and over 11,700 youth workers. Please note: Your booking won't be accepted until you provide all your details.We need all your information, to be able to ensure we have a space for you. - Funding Surgery for Dumfries and Galloway Member Groups- 12 June 2025- 11am - 12noon Youth Scotland is inviting our Dumfries and Galloway member groups to speak with us on a one-to-one basis for support with your fundraising activities, specifically on funding applications and how to identify potential sources of funding for your organisation’s activities and sustainability. These 15 minutes slots will give you the opportunity to talk with Amy-Dee Watson, D&amp;G Youth Scotland Development Officer who is experienced in securing funding from both the public sector and independent trusts and foundations. Our aim is to help you in identifying where you might apply for funding, and offer ideas and tips on how to demonstrate on paper the good work that you are doing with young people in your community. Youth worker training is in high demand – please help us support youth workers to access the training and development they deserve with these simple steps: <ol><li>Tell us if you cannot attend more than 24hrs in advance. This allows us to free up the space for another youth worker (many sessions are oversubscribed) and means you will avoid being charged the £25 fee for late-notice cancellation or non-attendance.</li><li>Check you can join with camera and microphone. Our online training is engaging, interactive and discussion-based – not a webinar format. Our members regularly tell us this is better learning and we are confident you will gain more.</li><li>Eventbrite sends you all your information by email. You will receive your ticket at booking and be sent a reminder – with any login details if online – approximately 24hrs in advance. If there are materials and handouts, your facilitator will send these too.</li></ol>Thank you for using our training and helping us to continue supporting the needs of our members and community-based youth work.
