Blue Plaque Guided WalkA brand new addition to our Walking Guide Programme as part of the "Discovering Rotherham" initiative.Since its launch in 2012, Rotherham District Civic Society has unveiled 31 Blue Plaques recognising the people who have left their mark and make a significant contribution to Rotherham and the World.Do you know about Rotherham Heritage and its people? Join us as we take you on a journey to explore a selection Blue Plaques located in the Town Centre. <h3>Meet outside the Town Hall</h3>Duration: 1.30hr - 2.00hrsDistance: 1.0 milesAccessibility: Suitable for Motorised Scoter - No Steps The walk will be at a gentle pace covering the main areas around the Town Centre. There will be some kerbs and uneven surfaces but the majority of the walk will be along pedestrianised walkways. Rotherham District Civic Society is a registered Charity (Reg No. 2588313) that was established in 1968.
