<h3>RSA Fellows and guests who are practitioners or otherwise interested in our creative industries, arts, culture and heritage, as well as innovation, are warmly invited to attend our event on Creative Corridors: Innovation and Talent.</h3>Coffee and Tea will be served at 5pm and the event will start promptly at 5.15pm with a presentation by Iqra Choudhry on behalf of the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC) on the report published by PEC and the RSA. RSA Fellow Ann Packard will chair the event on the invitation of Dr Iqra Choudhry. It will be followed by a facilitated discussion with our panel of respected speakers and a Q&amp;A with the audience.Please note an earlier start time for this event. We encourage you to take the time to fill out the pre-attendance survey when purchasing your tickets.SpeakersAnn Packard, FRSA - Ann’s career spanned the public, private and third sectors, including Public Appointments, one of which being a three year appointment on Capital Lottery, SAC (now Creative Scotland). She has other arts experience, relevant memberships and was awarded Honorary Fellowship of the RIAS about twenty years ago.RSA Fellow Catherine Holden is a consultant, facilitator, trainer, speaker and coach. She advises on organisational strategy, change and governance, fundraising, brands, and has held leadership roles for over 25 years across museums, galleries and theatre in London and Edinburgh. Her board chair and trustee roles span several major cultural organisations, including Clore Leadership, the National Theatre of Scotland, and Art UK.Mark Geddes is Creative and Cultural Strategy Manager at South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) with the responsibility of leading and enhancing the wealth of creative and cultural activity in the South of Scotland. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art he is a published author. Mark represents SOSE on several national and regional strategic initiatives. He is a board member, and acting chairman of Paragon Music Ensemble, a cultural charity supporting music inclusion. He has worked in economic development for the past 20 years in local and national government developing strategies and initiatives, and supporting business in the creative industries, tourism, and food and drink sectors. Mark was previously Screen Commissioner for South West Scotland, promoting and facilitating film and television production across the region and has recently led on the development of the South of Scotland screen strategy.Dr Iqra Choudhry is a research engagement professional with a varied background across research disciplines. She is a member of the policy unit at the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre, where she works with local and regional government to support evidence-based policymaking for the growth of the creative industries.Karen Dick leads the work within ‘Place, Partnerships and Communities’ [PPC] at Creative Scotland. The PPC team covers areas including Gaelic Arts, Scots, Traditional Arts, partnership development with local authorities and other regional and national bodies. It also leads on strategic initiatives including the Place Partnership Programme and Culture Collective. Karen joined the Area Development Team at Scottish Arts Council in 2001, supporting work with Local Authorities and the Arts in Community programme.

<h3>Taking part in RSA in-person events</h3>To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. If you wish to register another attendee, this must be done separately using a different email address. This is for capacity purposes.
