The module will explore so of the fundamentals to community development.

Important - this webinar will run over 3 separate sessions, each running for 90 minutes on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th April 2025.This CPD session looks at the role of Community led development within the context of economic regeneration. The module will explore so of the fundamentals to community development such as co-design, how communities are defined and meaningful approaches to engagement. The course will also explore the wider dimensions of community led development such s why it’s important from a social innovation perspective and how it can lead to longer-lasting impact and transform communities.This course will be run by IED board directors Dr Jo Leek and past IED board director Lorna Young.Attendance is open to both IED members and non IED members.F or those of you completing the Certificate in Economic Development, this is one of the modules in that programme.The webinar sessions will be on:22nd April 2.00-3.30pm23rd April 2.00-3.30pm24th April 2.00-3.30pmThere is an expectation that delegates will attend all 3 webinars.Please note that the webinars will be conducted via Zoom or MS Teams and you will be able to ask live questions via the chat during the course of the sessions.The inclusive price for this session 3 x 90 minute webinars) is £70 for IED members and £135 for non IED members. No VAT is chargeable.
