This is a deep dive of clean growth issues for an economic development professional

Important - this is a series of 3 webinars each running for 90 minutes on the 15th, 16th and 17th September 2025.This course will be run by Dr. Rosa M. Fernandez Martin, Senior Lecturer in Economics and Finance and KBS Sustainability Lead &amp; PGR Lead at Keele University. An economist by training, her areas of expertise relate to environmental and energy economics and policies, carbon literacy, corporate social responsibility and green finance.T he course will cover the following:<ul><li>Clean growth: Meaning and pathways for the UK</li><li>Policy: Net Zero Strategy (and latest changes)</li><li>Technology: Hydrogen as the latest ‘saviour’</li><li>Opportunities and challenges (for the national and local levels)</li><li>Green finance</li><li>Skills gap</li><li>Examples of best practices (in and out of the UK)</li><li>Public-private partnerships</li><li>Community engagement in energy generation</li></ul>Attendance is open to both iED members and non iED members.For those of you completing the Advanced Certificate in Economic Development, this is one of the modules in that programme.The webinar sessions will be on:<ul><li>15th September 10-11.30am</li><li>16th September 10-11.30am</li><li>17th September 10-11.30am</li></ul>There is an expectation that delegates will attend all 3 webinars. Please note that the webinars will be conducted via Zoom or MS Teams and you will be able to ask live questions via the chat during the course of the sessions.The inclusive price for this session 3 x 90 minute webinars) is £70 for iED members and £135 for non iED members. No VAT is chargeable.
