Stand-up comedy live online via Zoom from the brilliant No Direction Home collective.

Following the huge success of our summer Zoom gigs, No Direction Home is taking to the (online) road for a series of performances with partners around the UK.Join us for an evening of laughter in partnership with Celebrating Sanctuary Birmingham, hosted by the brilliant Tom Parry and featuring an international line-up of new comedians: Zoe Neirizi, Abdul Tahhan, Charly Monreal, Delia Remy and Yasmeen Ghrawi.Produced by the charity Counterpoints Arts as part of their PopChange programme.Age 16+FREE (<a href="https://counterpointsarts.org.uk/support-us/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Donations welcome</a>)You will be sent a Zoom link by email before the eventAll welcome, wherever you are in the UK or the world :-)No Direction Home is a pioneering project featuring stand-up comedians from refugee and migrant backgrounds, mentored by award winning comedian Tom Parry.No Direction Home was created by Counterpoints Arts in partnership with Camden People’s Theatre and Tom Parry. Since 2018 they have performed gigs around the country, including at the Southbank Centre in London.Guest headliners including Romesh Ranganathan, Nish Kumar, Sindhu Vee, Joel Dommett and Suzi Ruffell have also spent time with the group and shared tips and advice. Media coverage has included BBC News and BBC World Service.In autumn 2020 the group are on <a href="https://counterpointsarts.org.uk/event/no-direction-home-virtual-tour-2020/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">a virtual tour of the UK</a>, following a Zoom performance at the Edinburgh Festival in August.Nish Kumar says: “The No Direction Home comedians are a very exciting, interesting and creative bunch of people to be around.
