Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. The Green Room, Norfolk Record Office

Celebrate spring by creating your very own mini beasts and garden. Find out what bugs do to archives and see examples of material which was stored badly before arriving at the Record Office. Look at illustrations of flowers from the archives and see a collection of plants collected by 13 year old George Eaton. Finally spend time making your own mini beasts and creating a home for them.Bookings open on Monday 17 March.Aimed at primary school-age children (under 8s must be accompanied by an adult).Pay what you can. When you book this event you will have the option to give a donation.
