This event is ideal for health and social care professionals, including doctors, nurses, social workers, mental health practitioners, organisational leaders, and policymakers. Helen is an Allied Health Professional, Occupational Therapist, Advanced Sensory Integration Therapist and EMDR therapist.Helen is Passionate about the use of creativity for recovery and healing, Helen has worked in and alongside the NHS in both public and private therapy roles for the last 24 years. Within the NHS, Helen's main experience has been in Developmental Paediatric Occupational Therapy and CAMHS and enjoys working with children and families. She has also working in Op Courage mental health service and is currently practicing in Acute medicine. Her career spans roles in both mental and physical health practice and she specialises in autism recently working as a mentor on the Enhanced autism training program for psychiatrists at the Royal College of Psychiatry.Helen won a substantial award for innovation from the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA) in 2007 setting up Animation Therapy. The company ran for eleven years offering outreach animation workshops within the NHS and charity sector and training professionals to use animation to support their practice worldwide, including working in Uganda and Canada. Helen is a graduate and Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs, an Ambassador for the Academy of Fab Stuff (NHS) and is a qualified Occupational Therapist and Advanced Sensory Integration practitioner. Helen is Founder Co/Director at <a href="https://riserewild.co.uk/" title="https://riserewild.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rise&Rewild CIC (riserewild.co.uk)</a>. The Community Interest Company aims to provide a space for re-connection with nature, relaxation, creativity and healing in the grounds of the beautiful Powderham Castle estate Devon. Liliane is a NED at Apricot Centre, managing director at Jabulani PLymouth CIC, human resources manager, and human relations executive at Diversity Business Incubator CIC.Liliane is a sister, wife, mother, and a passionate advocate for human relations. Born as a refugee, she learned from a young age that true integration begins with understanding oneself and one’s identity before embracing others and their differences. This early insight into the importance of self-awareness and empathy has profoundly shaped her approach to both personal and professional relationships.With a degree in Business Management focused on Human Resources, Liliane's career has been dedicated to building meaningful connections. She currently support Human Relations at DBI and manages the Jabulani CIC project. Her work is deeply rooted in fostering strong relationships and a culture of belonging within the workplace and beyond.In addition to current roles, Liliane has 5 years of experience working with start ups, where she has been instrumental in creating spaces where entrepreneurs and visitors feel a strong sense of belonging. This experience has highlighted the need for traditional business models to evolve in response to the diverse and growing community we serve. By thinking outside the box, we’ve been able to foster wealth creation and innovation. This background equips Liliane to offer valuable advice and mentorship to startups, particularly those from deprived or diverse backgrounds with unique approaches to business.Driven by a deep belief in the power of connection, Liliane has embraced Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), a transformative approach that centres on relationship and systems intelligence. This methodology has reshaped how she engages with individuals and teams, guiding her toward becoming a dedicated Relationship Coach. Her work focuses on fostering deeper understanding, empathy, and collaboration, both personally and professionally.As a Black woman and a neurodiverse individual, Liliane's experience is rich with diversity.
