Community Safety Youth Input: Walk and TalkYou will be taking a walk around Folkestone with Community Safety partners<ul><li>FHDC Community Safety</li><li>Kent Police</li><li>Folkestone Family Hub</li></ul>It will be an opportunity for young people (and their parent /guardian if under 16) to have a voice, identify areas in town and surrounding areas that they feel safe and less safe, and the reasoning behind this.Our problem-solving teams will discuss with the young people ideas that can be taken forward to help resolve the concerns raised, using designated funding for this project, and making Folkestone safer for all.When?Tuesday 14th April, 2-4pm (school holidays), meet at Reception at the Council, Civic Centre, Castle Hill AvenueWhere?The walk will start and finish at the Civic Centre.A parent or guardian will need to be present if the young person is aged under 16. We ask that all parents/ guardians and young people respect each other’s views and opinions. No bullying or bad language will be tolerated and you may be asked to leave the session should this happen.Please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the event.We look forward to meeting you, hearing your views, and working together to make Folkestone safer.We can only accept attendance if the consent forms are completed.Feel free to share with others but there will be limited number of spaces.
