Wild Beach - A Coastal Adventure!Drop off sessions for ages 5 to 11 yearsDates: Monday 7th to Thursday 10th April, 9-1pmLocation: West Beach, Littlehampton, BN17 5LH.Let your child experience the wonders of the coast with our Easter Wild Beach School Sessions. Set on the stunning coast of West Beach, Littlehampton, these sessions are packed with hands-on outdoor activities that inspire learning, exploration, and creativity.What’s in store?· Scavenger Hunts &amp; Coastal Exploration – Discover marine life· Paddling &amp; Playing in the Shallows – Fun water activities· Kite flying and Beach Games – Active fun with new friends· Wild Science &amp; Problem Solving – Hands-on learning· Environmental Awareness – Protecting our coastlines· Storytelling &amp; Creative Play – Imagination on the beach· Mapping, Tracking, and Trailing – Become a nature detective· Healthy Eating &amp; Lunch Prep – Learn about healthy food· Wild Art &amp; Nature Crafts – Use natural materials to create Rain or shine, the beach fun never stops! We will be offering the opportunity to paddle and play in the shallow water at a designated time and as part of a supervised and vigorously risk assessed activity. Children should wear clothes that they do not mind getting wet/swimming attire. Bring a change of clothes, towel and sun cream to reapply after any water play and beach shoes if they wish. This activity is offered weather, conditions and season dependent.What to bring and wear:<ul><li>A refillable water bottle</li><li>Appropriate outdoor clothes and footwear for the time of year and weather.</li><li>A jumper for breezy days</li><li>Sun screen/sun hats</li><li>A towel</li><li>Wear any swimming attire under their clothes (for paddling and splashing in the shallows, weather and conditions dependant and assessed on the day).</li><li>Change of clothes.</li></ul>We will be providing a picnic lunch, snacks and extra water for drinking.Drop/pick up point: West Beach, Littlehampton. What3words location: helps.linked.bugs More details will be sent closer to the time.Parking charges: Drop off and pick up is free, however this is a public car park and parking charges apply if you are leaving your car for any length of time.Can I stay with my child: These are drop off sessions only, but there are some lovely walks around the beach, a cafe and other areas if you would like to stay near by.My child is entitled to a free space, how do I book these? All free HAF FSM free spaces are booked through the new WSCC online booking system. You will need your child's HAF FSM number to book any places. We do have use of a visitors centre to store bags and shelter from rain showers, however in very wet/rainy/windy conditions or if weather warnings are in place we will have to cancel the session.My child has food allergies: There is a section on the order form to complete with any food allergies. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information.
