I have mobility issues, is the tour suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

The Memorial is situated at the top of Edinburgh Castle and there is an uphill walk. There is a mobility vehicle available which will take you from the castle esplanade to the Memorial. Please allow extra time if you need to use this service

Will I have the opportunity to view my relative's name in the Roll of Honour during the tour?

Accepted Answer

Yes if you have a name in the Roll of Honour you can look it up during the tour. You can search the Rolls of Honour for free on our website at www.snwm.org

How do I make a donation to the Memorial?

Accepted Answer

The Memorial is a small, independent charity and relies upon public donations. We are extremely grateful for any donations towards our work. Donations can be made at the time of booking the tour and also in the Memorial itself where there are contactless and cash donations facilities available.
