‘Folk Art Flowers’Saturday 26th April 10am to 1pm Create a colourful and patterned floral wall decoration for your garden or yard. Using pre-cut shapes from reclaimed pallet wood, participants will have a go at simple DIY skills such as sanding, drilling, and constructing with glue and screws. Artistic techniques including hand painting and stencilling will be demonstrated so participants can design their own unique flower. The final pieces will be varnished to ensure they are outdoor safe, so items will need to be collected from the workshop after they are dry. There will be a tea and coffee break halfway through the activity.
