Join Video Art Guerrilla from 5pm until 7pm, exploring the use of film and moving image in unconventional spaces. This will be accompanied by a roundtable discussion with members of the Video Art Guerilla to explore artist collective practices and placemaking through audiovisual work. Date &amp; Time: Saturday, 15 March 2025, 5pmAddress: Convention House, St Mary’s Lane, Leeds, LS9 7EHVideo Art Guerrilla is an artist collective in Taiwan that organises screenings and exhibitions outside of the traditional white cube, in many locations including beaches, temples, and night markets. Our current artist in residence at Convention House, Zhao Ruo Tong, is a longstanding member of Video Art Guerrilla, and uses the collective to develop and display works in site-specific ways. She will be joined by Miao Ying Lu and Lu Chih Kai. Miao Ying Lu is a visual artist exploring themes around environmental perception and non-human animals, through video, site-specific installation and writing.
