Join us for Forest School for the home education community. Discover ways to have fun outdoors and meet new friends. Suitable for ages 4-11.

Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve & Jeffery Harrison Visitor Centre

During these 2 hour weekly sessions (6-week programmes) children are encouraged to lead their own learning, doing as much for themselves as possible, with help from accompanying adults only where needed. Our activities are great for problem-solving, communication, creativity and physical development. Growing up with fun experiences in wild spaces can help inspire a love of nature that lasts a lifetime.Activities are led by our experienced education tutors and all of the activities are based on forest school principles, however our unique site gives us the opportunity to do so much more.Sessions include a wide range of nature based activities, including pond dipping, minibeast hunts, crafts, den building &amp; fires, and offer a wonderful opportunity for families to have fun together whilst exploring our beautiful reserve.All children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of 4 children per adult. Maximum of 2 adults per child.Activities are suitable for ages 4-11 but younger siblings up to age 2/3 are welcome to come and join the fun.Dates:<ul><li>Monday 21st April - Bank Holiday</li><li>Monday 28th April</li><li>Monday 5th May - Bank Holiday</li><li>Monday 12th May</li><li>Monday 19th May</li></ul>We will still be running sessions on the Bank Holidays and would love to see you there. If you have other siblings that are not home educated, we have created a special reduced price ticket so that they can come along and jin in the fun as well. Alternitivly there is a three week ticket to allow you to come to all of the non Bank Holiday dates.Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing suitable for the weather, sturdy footwear, long trousers, long sleeves.FAQsWhat are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?Our parking charge is included for the duration of the sessions. You must provide us with your registration number upon booking. If you wish to continue parking after the session has ended, you will need to purchase a parking ticket.
