In celebration of Book Week Scotland, the NUJ is delighted to introduce "The Virtual Book Club" sponsored by the Scottish Book Trust & SUL

In celebration of Book Week Scotland, the NUJ is delighted to introduce ‘The Virtual Book Club’. Three top Scottish writers will share their thoughts about their writing with participants, who are invited to join in with questions and comments. Each session will last an hour from 7pm-8pm and the line up is:Monday 16 November Angus Peter CampbellTuesday 17 November Janice GallowayWednesday 18 November Denise Mina Participants are welcome to attend more than one session but must register in advance on Eventbrite.Questions will be taken spontaneously on the night but if you have a burning question you want to make sure is answered, please send it in advance to Catherine Deveney, cdev2112@aol.com.Monday 16th November: An Evening with Angus Peter CampbellAngus Peter Campbell (Aonghas Pàdraig Caimbeul) is an award-winning writer and actor. For this event, he will talk about moving between languages (he&#x27;s just translated Animal Farm into Gaelic) and the tightrope or canyon between working as a novelist/[poet/actor and as a journalist. What&#x27;s the difference, he asks, between news and a novel? Angus Peter will be happy to discuss his work with the audience and welcomes questions.Anguspetercampbell.co.uk
