Join Sophie Holme and Kriti Upadhyay as they provide an overview of the legal principles, and discuss the current law on consent in medical decision making, now that the dust has settled following the Supreme Court decision in McCulloch v Forth Valley Health Board. What are the implications for both patients and clinicians? The talk will be followed by a practical workshop, aimed at both claimants and defendants, focusing on issues and practice points that may arise in a clinical negligence context. Finally, we invite you to join us for drinks and refreshments after the talk and workshop. Registration starts at 4pm for a 4:15pm start, with tea and coffee on arrival. Places are limited but complimentary.
