About this event

Leadership and the development of future and existing leaders are priorities for any organisation. But enduring myths about what makes for good leadership, combined with a lot of poor practice in leadership development, leave the space mudied and full of myths and misunderstandings.

The experienced and accredited workplace psychologists at WorkLifePsych have launched a camapign to improve the quality of leadership development bust the myths that confuse the leadership conversation. We call it 'Sustainable Leadership'.

In this seventh webinar in the series, Dr. Richard MacKinnon and Ross McIntosh will explore the important role of self-compassion and compassion for others when it comes to effective and sustainable leadership. They'll share:

  • Why compassion is so misunderstood as a concept in the workplace
  • The benefits of compassion - for self and for others
  • The relationship between compassion, flexibility and wellbeing
  • How to include compassion in your leadership development activities
