About this event

Are you looking for ways to create a more inclusive and resilient community? 

Do you want to gain the skills and confidence to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds? 

This training is designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge to create inclusive and accessible environments, and to foster positive relationships between diverse groups of people.  

The training packages covers a wide range of topics including  

  • disability awareness  
  • accessibility for all 
  • inclusive language and  
  • wellbeing 

This training will be delivered by Happy Smiles who believe that by working together, we can create a more inclusive society where everyone is valued and celebrated. From the Creative Civic Change programme, to the Community Leadership Academy , and organising the Big Local learning and networking offer. We oversee many of the events you will see on the website, from regional clusters and chairs networking sessions, and we organise Connects and multiple events in-between.We also manage our support partners - organisations with expertise on a range of topics that provide areas with advice, mentoring and opportunities to grow knowledge for example Locality and Shared Assets, who support Big Local areas around acquiring assets and becoming legal bodies.
