Join us on Saturday, 26th April and enjoy a scenic ride or walk with a friendly group, fab vibes and post ride social, all in support of a great cause.<a href="https://ecobirmingham.com/2025/03/18/the-big-give-greenmatchfund-2025/" title="https://ecobirmingham.com/2025/03/18/the-big-give-greenmatchfund-2025/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ecobirmingham</a> are hosting this event to help raise vital funds for our <a href="https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS0000020ogPYAQ?c=53975" title="https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS0000020ogPYAQ?c=53975" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Big Give - Green Match Fundrasing Campaign</a>, enabling people to get outside more often, engage with nature and help change the culture of travel in Birmingham, one step or pedal at a time.Choose Your Fundraiser Activity: LED WALK - approx 2-3milesBIKE RIDE - approx 20miles What to expect:<ul><li>A fun time discovering bike/walking friendly routes &amp; connecting with people outdoors</li><li>Light refreshments/goodies will be provided</li></ul><ul><li>All participants will receive a FREE post ride beer* at <a href="https://birminghambrewingcompany.co.uk/taproom/" title="https://birminghambrewingcompany.co.uk/taproom/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Birmingham Brewing Company</a> and a copy of our illustrated ’69wards by Bike or Foot’ map</li></ul><ul><li>Led by qualified leaders</li><li>Fun for all, nobody gets left behind. Things to remember:<ul><li>Spaces must be booked in advance</li><li>Please bring a drink, snacks or some money/bank card to purchase extra refreshments.</li><li>Remember to dress for the weather, extra layers/waterproof are a good idea</li><li>Joining the walk? Please wear suitable/compfotable footwear</li><li>On the ride? This means every £1 donated through our <a href="https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS0000020ogPYAQ?c=53975" title="https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS0000020ogPYAQ?c=53975" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Big Give page</a> between 22nd-29th April will be matched by £1 from the Big Give until we reach our goal of £3500!We suggest a donation of £20pp for this event. All funds raised will help us with distribution and promotion of our 69 Wards walking and cycling maps, and provide FREE led rides/guided walks and route finding workshops. Enabling people to see the city differently, gain the knowledge and skills needed to leave the car at home and choose walking, cycling and public transport more often. All participants are required to make aPay-As-You-Feel donation. Show us your donation confirmation on the day, and we'll check you in. You can do this via our BIg Give Campaign Page or there will also be opportunity to donate by cash or QR code at the event. Your support means the world.
