Mark your calendars and come prepared for a day filled with art, inspiration, and meaningful connections. See you there! 10:00 AM - Meet-up: We'll kick off the illustrators meet-up by gathering outside Flint Barn Cafe by Whitlingham lake. At 10:15, we'll start our walk around the lake counter clockwise (towards the right). Exploring not only the fauna and flora but also enjoying the view from the boats, people and dogs.Drawing Session: Amidst the captivating environment, let your creativity flow as we sketch, doodle, and observe the world around us. There are benches throughout the park, perfect to sit and draw the landscape. Feel free to go at your own pace, walk all around the lake or just a small stretch. If you find a spot that you like and you want to stay there and draw for a while, that is fine too, you do not have to walk the entire way around the lake.12:00 PM - Gathering at Flint Barn Cafe: After an enriching morning of drawing and walking, we'll gather at the Flint Barn café to unwind, share our sketches, and exchange insights. If the weather is nice and sunny, we will have our coffees and chats on the terrace, or on the meadow overlooking the beautiful Whitlingham lake. Note: Please ensure to bring your own sketchbooks and any drawing materials you may need.Weather: In case of light rain, make sure to bring appropriate water resistant clothes and an umbrella. In case of heavy rain, the meet-up might get postponed to the next day.Dogs: Well behaved dogs on a lead are more than welcome on this walk and draw meet-up. Their focus is to bring together the creative community through fun workshops, supportive business and financial sessions, networking opportunities and a whole lot of drawing!
