About the EventThis walkshop is part of the all-day drop-in event for MAKE Room .Join us for a short 30-minute walkshop, where we will reconnect with the natural world around us. During the walk, you will collect natural textures to contribute to our MAKE Room construction. This walkshop will invite you to reflect on your relationship with nature and help us build a creative installation using local materials.Who’s this for?Anyone interested in nature, creativity, and sustainable art practices. Whether you’re passionate about the environment or just beginning to explore, this event is for you!What to Expect:✔ A short 30-minute walk exploring the natural textures around us ✔ Collect materials for the collaborative MAKE Room art installation ✔ A space to reflect on how nature connects us all ✔ No prior experience necessary - just bring your curiosity!Important Information:<ul><li>FREE: All materials provided.</li><li>Booking required: Please register to secure your spot.</li><li>Age restrictions: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.</li><li>Things to bring: If you have any unwanted cardboard, please bring it to help us build the MAKE Room.</li></ul> About MAKE RoomMAKE Room is a roaming art programme that encourages a deeper connection with nature through exploring local sustainable materials and practices. It provides a space for creative thinking, where we rethink how we can connect with the environment around us. This programme offers walks, talks, and workshops, where participants can reimagine their relationship with nature and engage in hands-on creative activities.In this event, we'll work together to create a "MAKE Room" art installation, using natural materials collected during our walks. The programme aims to inspire creativity, build connections, and celebrate the art of making across the county.
