Join Cardiff's illustrator meet-up for a two-part Risograph printed zine workshop in collaboration with Printed Festival.

The next Cardiff illustrator meet-up - <a href="https://www.instagram.com/illustrationclb/" title="https://www.instagram.com/illustrationclb/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Illustration Club</a> - is in collaboration with Printhaus (part of the team behind <a href="https://www.printedfestival.com/" title="https://www.printedfestival.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Printed Festival</a>). We are running a two-part Risograph printed zine workshop, with a theme of ‘Viva la Print’, protest and punk. Your ticket gives you access to both parts of the workshop. All materials provided. Part 1: 21 May,&nbsp; 6pm-8pm&nbsp;A risograph introduction and guidance on how to create artwork for a two colour Risoprint, plus other techniques that can be used for the zine, such as collage and monoprinting. &nbsp;Part 2: 25 June, 6pm-8pm zine making, followed by social 8-9pmFolding and creating the zines. Plus, after the workshop, we'll have a social to celebrate the zine. The social is open to those who haven’t participated in the workshop. Each participant will receive one zine. Additional zines will be available to buy on 25 June and at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.printedfestival.com/" title="https://www.printedfestival.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Printed Festival (28-29 June)</a> with all profits going towards the upkeep of the festival.&nbsp;The zine artwork will be displayed in <a href="https://artholecardiff.com/" title="https://artholecardiff.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arthole</a>’s new shop as a temporary exhibition.&nbsp; Please note: Both workshops are at <a href="https://artholecardiff.com/" title="https://artholecardiff.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arthole</a>’s new shop space, Unit 3, Alexandra House, Cowbridge Road CF5 1JD About Illustration Club <a href="https://www.instagram.com/illustrationclb/" title="https://www.instagram.com/illustrationclb/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Illustration Club</a> is a creative meet up, open to illustrators at any and all stages of their education and career. Hosted by Cardiff illustrator <a href="https://www.instagram.com/naomi.ann_/" title="https://www.instagram.com/naomi.ann_/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Naomi Ann Clarke</a>. There's a mix of events such as relaxed drinks and draws, fun drawing activities, workshops and talks.
