On Thursday 19 June, join us for an online training session on ‘How to secure funding through an EHCP’Led by former headteacher and Education Consultant at SEND Training Institute Lindsay Galley, this event is exclusively for SEND professionals. We know it can be really difficult to secure the tangible financial resources needed to deliver the support that children in your care need. In this online training session, Lindsay Galley will share her vast experience giving you clear guidance on how to apply the EHCPs and explain the need in a way that actually secures funding. The event runs for two hours from 2pm – 4pm. Here’s what we will be covering:<ul><li>How a well worded, specific and quantified EHCP can secure school funding</li><li>What is quality first teaching and what provisions go beyond QFT</li><li>Maximising the value of a professional's visit into school for an ECHNA or Annual Review</li><li>Understanding what the Guidance to Educational Psychologists in Preparing Statutory Advice tells them about report writing</li><li>Identifying key areas of an EHCP to review and amend</li><li>Ensuring that an EHCP aligns with legal requirements and best practices</li><li>Strategies to advocate effectively for the child or young person</li></ul> Tickets are priced to take into account school budgets. This event is targeted specifically at professionals who work with SEND children. If this is not you, you will not find the content relevant to you and we advise that you do not book on.
