Take part in Minecraft design and build challenges.

Take part in design and build challenges and meet other gamers at the Farrell Centre’s own Minecraft club.This bi-weekly club will explore the potential of Minecraft as a tool to understand Architecture, Design and City Planning. Farrell Centre staff will set Minecraft design and build challenges for participants and offer a space for gamers and their parents to come together and share the worlds they have created. This programme was developed in collaboration with a group of primary school children.Important information<ul><li>Participants must bring their own device to play, with the Minecraft app pre-installed</li><li>Participants must be accompanied by an adult throughout, however only gamers require a ticket</li><li>We have a quiet room available if for any reason children feel overwhelmed or need to take some time out from gaming</li><li>We will play in Creative Mode, participants will be provided with a unique Seed Code at the start of each session which they must build within</li></ul>31st May – Everyday ObjectsThis week, we will be exploring how everyday objects can serve as inspiration for architects – resulting in fun and creative designs. A bus stop shaped like a cat? A shop shaped like a pineapple? Builders will make their own wacky designs based on an ordinary object.Booking InformationPlaces are free but booking is essential.
