A slow paced guided ride for the centenary of The Great West Road looking at its history and the 'golden mile's' Art Deco architecture.

<p>Join the guide at Kew Bridge, Brentford for a 5 mile, slow paced cycle ride along the Great West Road's south side cycle track in the road's centenary year. This is a guided ride for the London Festival of Architecture. Participants will hear about the history of the road and see the listed Art Deco architecture of the 'golden mile'. ROUTE: Kew Bridge to Gillette Corner and return through Brentford. Participants should bring their own bicycles. Organised with the assistance of the Hounslow Branch of The London Cycling Campaign</p>
