<a href="" title="" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The interdisciplinary hybrid conference organized by Exeter </a><a href="https://law.exeter.ac.uk/" title="https://law.exeter.ac.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Law School</a> and the <a href="https://www.exeter.ac.uk/research/groups/law/humanrightsanddemocracyforum" title="https://www.exeter.ac.uk/research/groups/law/humanrightsanddemocracyforum" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Human Rights &amp; Democracy Forum</a> and sponsored by <a href="https://www.mejorandolasociedad.org" title="https://www.mejorandolasociedad.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MEJORA Foundation</a> will bring together scholars, experts, representatives of religious communities and NGOs to reflect on some key issues in the ongoing struggle for religious freedom in different countries. We are excited to welcome professionals, students, early-career researchers, and passionate advocates for human rights. <h3>Event Highlights</h3> <ul><li>Inspiring Guest Speakers: Hear from UK and European experts in human rights law, international relations, religious studies (including Islam, Christianity, and Sikhism) and new religious movements (NRMs). Speakers will include Prof. Emma Leeming (University of Exeter), Massimo Introvigne (Center for Studies on New Religions, Italy), and Dr. Peter Hartung (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität, Germany).</li></ul> <ul><li>Engaging Sessions: Dive into presentations, discussions, and interfaith dialogues. The conference includes the morning and noon session with various topics, then the afternoon session on the Ahmadi Religion and a discussion on Tantra-Based New Religious Movements.</li></ul> This event is organised by the University of Exeter Law School, the Human Rights and Democracy Forum, and MEJORA Foundation. It is free to attend and open to all, however registration is required.If you wish to attend online, please select the approproate ticket when registering.
