Celtic Charity has always been an integral part of Celtic Football Club, uniting the Celtic Family around the world in collectively-held values and beliefs. Our primary focus has always been that of improving the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable people all over the world, and in our 125th anniversary year we want to do much more. In Britain alone we have more than 13.5 million people living in poverty. That's more than one in five without enough to live on, discriminated against, and excluded from society. On our own doorstep, Glasgow's East End has the highest rate in the UK for children living in workless households, positioning Celtic Park right at the heart of communities who need our help the most.

Celtic FC Foundation are delighted to confirm that we are returning to County Cork for   – ‘Celts by the Sea 2025'.

Ballycotton Cliff Walk

With Celtic Football Club set to be competing in the inaugural Cork Super Cup this July, Celtic FC Foundation are delighted to confirm that we will also be returning to County Cork on Saturday, June 28 for our Celts by the Sea event.We are incredibly grateful that this will, once again, be very generously sponsored by Sea Church, Ballycotton - a beautiful restaurant and event space.Delivered in conjunction with the Association of Irish Celtic Supporters’ Clubs, Celts by the Sea will include a sponsored walk along the famous Ballycotton cliffside, followed by an evening of entertainment at Sea Church, featuring Treble-winning former Celt, Chris Sutton.Supporters have the opportunity to participate in the sponsored walk and can additionally opt to attend the evening event, as this exciting duo of Foundation fundraising initiatives returns for the third year in a row.The sponsored walk – set to kick off at 3pm – will see participants complete the famous Ballycotton Cliff Walk, which boasts some truly breathtaking sea views.Participants under the age of 18 can register to participate in the walk free of charge but those under the age of 16 must have written consent and be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian/responsible adult, who must also take part in the event.The walk will end at Sea Church and participants will be welcomed into the stunning venue, where they will have the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned rest. Participants also have an opportunity to join us for a delicious buffet from 5.30pm.Sea Church will then play host to a fantastic night of entertainment including a Q&amp;A with Chris Sutton, live music from Celtic Park’s very own, Liam McGrandles and some fantastic items in a wonderful prize draw and auction.In the first instance, the packages inclusive of the sponsored walk and evening event are available on a first come, first served basis. Sponsored walk participants under the age of 18 are also welcome to join the evening event free of charge, but due to licensing restrictions, they must vacate the venue by 8pm.Any remaining tickets for the evening event with Chris Sutton will then be available to purchase at a later date, again on a first come first served basis.Registration is now open for supporters to get involved, please ensure you read the <a href="https://charity.celticfc.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Celts-by-the-Sea-Terms-and-Conditions-2025.pdf" title="https://charity.celticfc.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Celts-by-the-Sea-Terms-and-Conditions-2025.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Terms and Conditions</a> before completing the process.Proceeds raised will be devoted to supporting children and young people through Celtic FC Foundation’s project delivery in Ireland.
