We are delighted to invite you to attend the IROHMS Forum on Human-centred Technologies and Society, hosted by the Human-centred Technologies and Society Working Group.

10th February 2021, 15:30 – 17:00 GMT.

Chaired by Professor Stuart Allen (School of Computer Science and Informatics), the Forum will engage a lively discussion on current research within these fields. The format of the Forum will include:

a short presentation from one of the Working Group Chairs (Dr Emily Collins, Dr Juan Hernández Vega, Dr Liam Turner)
short presentations from the Panellists
questions from the Panel Chair
questions from the audience.

IROHMS Future Leaders Academy will explore research challenges in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and human-machine systems, highlighting the transformational research, strong industrial and public sector engagement, and delivery of sustainable, impactful solutions that we are recognised for. Over a period of six weeks, commencing 19th January 2021, guests will be invited to virtually join four discussion forums, workshops, networking events, and virtual tours of our new and improved laboratories: IROHMS Simulation Laboratory, Autonomous Systems and Robotics Laboratory, and Human-Robot Interaction Laboratory.

Bydd Academi Arweinwyr y Dyfodol IROHMS yn archwilio heriau ymchwil ym meysydd deallusrwydd artiffisial, roboteg, a systemau peiriannau dynol, gan dynnu sylw at yr ymchwil drawsnewidiol, ymgysylltiad cryf yn y diwydiant a'r sector cyhoeddus, a darparu atebion cynaliadwy, effeithiol yr ydym yn cael ein cydnabod amdanynt. Dros gyfnod o chwe wythnos, yn dechrau 19 Ionawr 2021, bydd gwesteion yn cael eu gwahodd i ymuno'n rhithwir â phedwar fforwm trafod, weithdai, digwyddiadau rhwydweithio, a teithiau rhithwir ein labordai newydd a gwell: Labordy Efelychu IROHMS, Labordy Systemau Ymreolaethol a Roboteg, a Labordy Rhyngweithio Dynol-Robot.
