<h3>CERTIFICATE IN THE PRINCIPLES OF WAREHOUSING AND STORAGE</h3>This course runs for 4 weeks with one, two hour online session each week. you will also need to dedicate between 2-3 hours of self study per week. Session Time: 10:30am - 12:30pmCourse Duration: A two hour session online Zoom session each week for five weeksAbout this courseThe warehousing and storage of goods is an essential part of any logistics operation. This interactive, online qualification is perfect for those currently seeking employment in this sector. The qualification will give you insight into the warehousing and storage industry. You'll learn how to undertake preparations for receiving goods, use different stock control methods and the best way to report and record any variations. You will also learn about the best health and safety practices to help minimise potential risks.Course Content <ul><li>Understanding the warehousing and storage industry</li><li>Understanding the functions and benefits of warehousing</li><li>Understanding how to store goods</li><li>The purpose of a stock check</li></ul>When does the course run?We have various start dates throughout the year. Most courses start each month, so there's always an opportunity ready for you.Course Fee and EligibilityThe course is government funded and you will be required to meet the following criteria to qualify for funding,<ul><li>Be over 19 years of age</li><li>Have proof of residency in the UK for at least three years and live in the Greater London area. 
</li><li>Be unemployed or on a career break or
</li><li>Be in receipt of a benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance or Universal Credit or
</li><li>Be employed/self-employed or
</li><li>On furlough or unemployed but NOT on any benefits
</li></ul>You will also be asked to provide evidence of your highest qualification.
