This event is for Healthwatch staff that design or use interview guides for interviews with research participants, or staff looking to strengthen key qualitative research skills.
What you will learn?
You will:
- Learn how to turn research questions into effective interview questions.
- Develop skills in asking appropriate follow-up and probing questions based on participants' responses.
- Have the opportunity to reflect on and share your experiences with interview design.
- Learn how to prepare interviewers for conducting semi-structured interviews.
- Practice interviewing in small breakout groups, with demonstrations and support from Healthwatch England facilitators.
