Module 1 - Introduction to Community Asset Transfer for community groups 

Please note, the 3 webinars are now fully booked. The Community Ownership Support Service (COSS) invites you to an online presentation providing an introduction to the Community Asset Transfer process, designed specifically for community groups interested in Asset Transfer. This webinar concerns the transfer of PUBLICLY-OWNED assets (assets owned by local authorities and public bodies) rather than privately-owned assets . This webinar will take you through:- What is asset transfer?- What are the rights for community groups under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment Act (Scotland) 2015?- Am I eligible to use these rights?- What do I need to do to submit an Asset Transfer Request?- AND Where can I get support?This is Module 1 of 6 in COSS' Assets for People and Places programme. The webinar will be delivered by COSS Advisor Lynn Molleson. It will run for 2 hours. We will have a break after 40 mins and a Q+A session at the end.We ask that attendees from community groups have their group's governance documents with them during the presentation, as this is one of the areas we will be looking at. There are three webinar options: <ul><li>FULLY BOOKED Thursday 21st January from 10am until 12 noon(daytime). </li></ul><ul><li>FULLY BOOKED Thursday 28th January from 7pm until 9pm (evening). </li></ul><ul><li>OR FULLY BOOKED Thursday 4th February from 10am until 12 noon (daytime). </li></ul>Please sign up to your preferred slot by clicking the 'select a date' button.
