How to Use Our New Online Catalogue

Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. All visitors must report to the security kiosk at the car park entrance to obtain a visitor’s parking pass.For events at Norfolk Heritage Centre, please contactheritagecentre@norfolk.gov.uk, for events at King's Lynn Borough Archive please visitstoriesoflynn@west-norfolk.gov.uk. Our staff also attend public events and give talks/run workshops in other locations around the County; from local libraries to village halls and other meeting places.This page provides information about events we are running or involved in all over the County and allows you to book online where applicable.To  subscribe to our events mailing list, please visithttps://www.archives.norfolk.gov.uk/keepintouchYour details will not be passed to anyone else and you can leave the mailing list at any time by clicking on the link above. This 20 minute session showcases our new online catalogue, and talks you through how to use it for your own research.
