Workshop tutor: Morag Bixley, speech and language therapist.In this interactive workshop I will describe my understanding of apraxia of speech, following my 40 years as an SLT working with adults with acquired communication difficulties. The workshop will involve theory, group work, video evidence and case-based learning. At the end of the workshop I hope that delegates will understand how I would assess, diagnose and treat a person with apraxia of speech and hope that this understanding might be relevant to them in their own clinical practice.This half day online study session will take place live over Zoom.There will be a half hour break (approx 2.45pm).FAQs<ul><li>A link to the Zoom session and Powerpoint slides will be circulated to delegates before the start of the session (the author asserts copyright over materials)</li><li>Participants will be required to participate in small group discussions; please attend with cameras turned on from a setting where you can talk</li><li>It is expected that everyone listening to the presentation will have separately registered to attend</li><li>The workshop will not be recorded for dissemination after the event</li><li>A certificate of attendance will be provided on request</li><li>If you have any queries please contact: susan.pethers@nhs.net</li></ul>
