We offer regular tours of the City's historic Guildhall on the day of the Common Council meeting - The building that dates back to the 1400s - and even earlier. Learn about how the City operates, its livery companies, famous events that took place within its medieval walls and admire the impressive memorials to some of Britain’s most important historic figures. Tours start promptly at 11.00 am and last up to 90 minutes. They take place on the day of the Common Council meeting - monthly except August and November. Why not stay afterwards and see the City’s democracy in action?

NOTE: Guests must bring confirmation of their booking and ID. They should meet their guides in the cloakroom of the Guildhall Art Gallery. Large single groups of 15 plus, should meet in the Guildhall Yard where you will be met by your guide. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
