For the 3rd year running, Park Royal Design District is taking part in London Craft Week from 17-18 May 2025, with a 2-day festival of Making and Craft in all its forms.

Join Cas Pollen, a specialist designer in the field of Verre Eglomise, otherwise known as gilding on glass for a unique workshop experience. Her work is renowned for installations which create a soft, venetian mirror effect. Cas will be showing how to gild silver and gold leaf onto a glass surface which creates a beautiful, ethereal mirror effect, using specialist techniques. Cas Pollen is a designer working in the unique field of Verre Eglomisé: the process of gilding precious metals on the reverse side of glass, etching in a design and setting it off with colour/oxidation. She is one of the few artists who has mastered this rare art form, and has been innovating and expanding upon it since 1990.
