Big Battlefield Walks Weekends - Battle of Tewkesbury 1471

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Register of Historic Battlefields in England the Battlefields Trust and its partner organisations are arranging a series of battlefield walks in September 2025.

Come and join the Tewkesbury Battlefield Society to explore the Wars of the Roses battle which took place there in 1471. Tickets are free, but limited to 30 people.

Meet on the steps of the red brick “Abbey Lawn gate” midway along the car park.
