Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) are holding a Pre-Market Engagement Event concerning its Bridgend Shared Prosperity Framework Communities and Place (Inclusive Communities) opportunity.The event will be held on 20th May as follows:<ul><li>1pm – 2pm: On-line briefing on the Shared Prosperity Funded Framework and opportunity in Bridgend</li><li>2pm- 3pm Individual 15 minute slots available for discussion with BCBC officers on the opportunity.</li></ul>The objectives of the Pre-Market Engagement Process for BCBC are to:1. Understand the potential opportunities and challenges to enhancing delivery in line with the eligible interventions2. Receive general feedback.3. Understand how the benefits of the programme can be maximised.BCBC are seeking to engage with suppliers/contractors who can provide all, or part of the services required to deliver Bridgend Inclusive Communities activities.The proposals will need to focus on activities that would support the Inclusive Communities theme, focusing on:· Impactful volunteering· Social action projects· Community engagement· Local arts, heritage, cultural and creative activities· Community measures to reduce the cost of living We will be providing further information on the Shared Prosperity Fund delivery in Bridgend. In addition, we are seeking discussion with community organisations on potential proposals, how these could complement the local investment delivery plan and adapt the structure and values of the opportunity to enable submissions. This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
