When does the event start and end?

Accepted Answer

Registration opens at 9.15am with the event starting at 9.45am. The event is scheduled to end at 4.45pm.

Question 2

Is it OK to arrive later than the start time or leave before the end?

Accepted Answer

Although we would prefer you to stay for the full day, to get most value for money, you can of course leave before the end. However, for security reasons, and to aid registration, we would ask that you arrive for the start. Registration opens at 9.15am.

Question 3

Is the venue accessible by public transport?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is next door to Glasgow Central and a 15 minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street or Buchanan Bus Station. The nearest underground station is Buchanan Street or Argyle Street, both about 10 minutes walk away.

Is the venue fully accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is accessed at street level with a lift to the 9th floor.

Question 5

Is food included in the ticket price?

Accepted Answer

Yes, tea, coffee and water will be available throughout the day as well as Brunch mid-morning.

Question 6

Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, of course. Brunch - made up of breakfast rolls, pastries and fruit - will be served during the first at 10.50. Unlimited hot and cold drinks will be served throughout the day.

Is parking available?`

There is no on-site parking but there are plenty of parking options in the City Centre. However, we recommend Cambridge Street car park which offers a full day rate of £8. This is a 15-20 minute walk from the venue.

How may people will be at the event in total?

Accepted Answer

Between 120 and 140 which means that it will still be intimate and friendly.

Question 9

What is the layout of the room?

Accepted Answer

The layout of the room will be banquet style with round tables and chairs. You do not need to reserve a seat beforehand.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Dress to be comfortable but as the venue can get warm we suggest layering.

Question 11

Will there be breaks during the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there will be a break in the morning for Brunch, at lunch time (no food served) and mid-afternoon. You can however leave the room at any time.
