DTAS Member Feedback Event: Recovery and Resilience Fund

DTA Scotland is an independent, member-led organisation which aims to promote, support and represent development trusts in Scotland. Established in 2003, DTA Scotland now has over 350 development trust members – community-led organisations using a combination of enterprise and creativity to improve the quality of life for local people in urban, rural and island communities across Scotland.

About the Fund:Thanks to funding from Foundation Scotland, DTAS are developing a new £5 million funding programme exclusively for our members. We are proposing that this Recovery and Resilience Funding will make available grants between £10,000 and £100,000 for DTAS member organisations.This new fund will be focused on recovery and resilience, helping to make your organisation stronger or building it back up after a period of crisis. The programme aims to serve three core purposes: <ol><li>To proactively support the recovery and long-term resilience of DTAS members</li><li>To help DTAS members gain stability, build capacity and future-proof their operations</li><li>To prevent DTAS members escalating into crisis.</li></ol> Why attend the event?The aim is to launch the fund at the DTAS conference in August, with applications opening in early autumn. In the lead up to its launch we are hosting this online session to give you an opportunity to provide feedback on how this fund could help you. We’d like to hear about: <ul><li>The types of support that would help you recover from a period of crisis?</li></ul><ul><li>How funding could help make your organisation more resilient?</li></ul><ul><li>What kind of application would work best for you?</li></ul><ul><li>What funders out there have good processes we could learn from?</li></ul> We’d also like you to tell us what else needs to be in place beyond the funding to support you on the path to improved resilience.This event will not offer advice on how to secure funding, nor provide any attendees with privileged information.Who is this event for?This event is for DTAS full and provisional members only.If you have any further questions please contact our Research Coordinator at Julia@dtascot.org.uk
