Winter Tree Bark ID - Digital Wildlife Walk

I've been leading wildlife walks and events for 10 years now and nothing makes me happier than helping others discover the hidden world of wildlife. Through my passion to protect and preserve nature, I set up a small business called Nature Talks and Walks, to offer fun and engaging events that demonstrate how valuable the natural world still is to us.I've worked with all ages and backgrounds, from nursery to care home. I beleive wildlife can help all sorts of people especially with physical and mental health.

During the winter months, you can use bark to identify different species of tree. This 'walk' looks at different patterns and textures.

Explore the UK's wildlife without even leaving the house!Join me as we look at the winter trees of the UK. In this digital walk will will focus on how to recognise different tree species using their bark. Exploring the trunks of trees in winter is a great way to connect to nature and learn a new ID skill. For just one ticket, the whole household can join. One ticket equals one household. The digital walk will begin at 10AM and last for 30 minutes with 10 minutes for questions. After you have your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email shortly before the event with the meeting link and the password to join the meeting. Please make sure to check your junk email if you don't receive your joining instructions by the day before the event. This event requires you to have Zoom downloaded onto your laptop or tablet. For best quality, using a laptop is highly recommended.
